Doom with windows to look out?
The shinny surfaces instantly made me think of an id game as for this being system shock 2 now way at least from playing the demo, the game looks awesome better buy a new pc this game needs it.
laggy ass controls on my pc of course at 1650 x 1080 maxed out on a 7950 gx2 it was a little stressed lets hope its not a bad port job from console.
going to play back true and turn down some setting see if the keyboard lag is still there.

FloridaHoudini just north of Universal Studios myself, but lately RR/Brighthouse has been a bitch with speeds. But I will say one thing during all the hurricanes the last 2 years I've never been less than 1 hour without cable/net.
I had comcast when I lived in Indianapolis and wasn't overly thrilled with their service. But it might be worth checking out. And if I'm lucky I can cap just around 7-7.5meg with the current setup.
As for the 360 vs PC Demo.... both have the same issues with textures. Namely water textures aren't double sided, but there are alot more shader details I've noticed in the PC version, and to me the water effects look alot better. I don't have a HDTV but running it at widescreen 1680x1050 you really notice (at least for me personally) alot more details, but you can also see where they used low detail textures as well.

Translation: Any game that requires more buttons than a console controller offers is obviously too complex for the masses to comprehend.

Same here Tom, ran fine and I'm using pretty old nvidia drivers on an 8800GTS.
upgrading your drivers for a new game almost guarantees trouble for existing games that work just fine, especially beta drivers.
Bioshock is cool and all, atmosphere and sound sells the experience but I can’t help feeling that they’ve gone to great lengths to simplify gameplay, no inventory system (some things are auto used when you pick them up, “I don’t want to drink the bottle of booze right now” – oh look my screen is all wavy) and no real worry about dying, even your guns come back with you.
We’ll never see a game as engaging as System Shock 2 again.

Getting 800+ frmo the GH "Central" server.
They were all full, so I hit refresh a couple of times, and they added a server. 
Love it.
It says, "35 minutes" .

I just played through the demo on an E6700 / 8800GTS and it was perfectly smooth. Didn't bother upgrading my drivers, and it still ran fine. It would be nice to find out what specific issues these drivers address. I'm not installing any beta drivers unless I really need to.

What's the deal with Comcast? I just got a flyer in the mail from them offering 12meg cable service for $24.95 a month for a year..I pay $50 for 7meg cable through Brighthouse right now.
The Comcast flyer said something about "Powerboost".. any idea on what the entails?
