I've played both the 360 and the PC version.
Xbox 360
42" widescreen, 1080i res
Absolutely sweet. Though there are a few occasional textures that aren't crisp, overall the world is gorgeous. Played the demo twice with default controls and had no issues. Though I will always prefer keyboard/mouse over controller, I'll admit, I had no issues with the controller.
PC
AMD 3700+ CPU
GeForce 7900 GT
2GB RAM
1680x1050 res
With the settings at max, I had issues with flickering shadows. This was solved by turning off V-sync, then turning it back on. Mouse movement is decent but not silky smooth. This may be due to my CPU/video not being up to snuff (which is sad in itself). Slightly pauses when opening doors to rooms. Found several missing textures (could be an issue with the 360 version, but haven't checked).
Overall, it looks great but I'm more inclined to get the 360 version (Blasphemy!!!!) Mapping the keys becomes a chore. Sometimes they won't map. Just hit APPLY and try again. having played through the demo three times now (ywice with 360, once with PC), I'm not seeing much variation in combat or encounters.
Personal gripes:
1- I hate cutscenes or areas where they take control away from you. I prefer the Half-Life 2 style of having everything unfold before you while you have control.
2- There are a lot of keys to map (weapons, plasmids, diary recordings, Use, first aid, weapon/plasmid selector screens, etc. For me, its a smoother experience with the controller.
3- More than a few clipping issues with items and props.
All in all, its a great demo of which will surely be a great game. The real downer of it all for me is, which platform to get it for...
