EA Mythic Opens Official Beta Center for Warhammer(R) Online: Age of Reckoning(TM)

EA Mythic today announced that beta registration for the highly-anticipated MMORPG, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, has officially begun. Players looking to join the epic battle before Warhammer Online launches in early 2008 can now sign up for a chance to participate in the invite-only Closed Beta Test.

From what I've seen the game play seems quite different from WoW, if anything it seemed a bit closer to Guild Wars' style. Of course that's all based on a video put together by the developers. I do agree that it would be refreshing to see a sci-fi based MMO (a good one) or at least something different from orcs, elves and magic that seems to permeate the current market.

I applied but could not upload the dxdiag.txt file. It kept telling me it was an invalid file, when of course its a perfectly good one. Dunno, maybe they have some kinks to work out in their signup process.
