Ships Ahoy - Mac Prey

Aspyr announces the Mac edition of Prey is now appearing in North American stores:

AUSTIN, Texas (January 15, 2007) - Aspyr Media, Inc. today announced the Mac version of Prey has shipped to retail outlets nationwide. The title was developed for the Mac by Aspyr Studios, Aspyršs internal development team, under license from 2K, a Take-Two Interactive Software publishing label.

Prey is a groundbreaking first-person shooter that turns the genre upside-down with new gameplay features and next generation graphics. Breaking the traditional first-person shooter format, Prey introduces innovative gameplay elements including wall-walking, portals, spirit-walking and gravity flipping, which allows for insane eight player deathmatches.

It will cost more, run slower and you can get your games 1-3 years behind. If you were using a Mac, for example, you might be able to play Wolfenstein ET today, wheres I dont know anyone still playing it. Your right though, Vista is a weak example of a "fresh" operating system, unless for gamers, DirectX 10 is all its being hyped to be. I love the Mac OS, too bad we cant have it for PC so that we could have it all....

"If Windows Vista becomes the only source PC gaming, I am getting a Mac."
