EverQuest: The Buried Sea Announced

This press release announces the next expansion for SOE's MMORPG, which will mark the 13th (or baker's dozernth, for the superstitious) add-on since the game's launch. The game will be available by digital distribution only, about one month from today. Here's a bit:

For all of you people talking about, "WoW is so cool, EQ sucks. I can't believe they are putting out ANOTHER expansion. Everquest people are ruining their lives, but no one else is."

Honestly, Everquest is THE most successful game in it's Genre. and i do not consider WoW in the same Genre, because it does not cater to the same type of player. in what experience i have had with WoW, i have seen entire guilds full of people that have speech impediment, no feeling for large group raid tactics, and want cartoon like graphics in an overcrowded, undermanned world. Not only that, WoW has spent how many millions of dollars in advertising itself? It is an e-whore only building momentum for the illiterate neglected brain children of an undereducated and morally corrupt societal sludge gutter, and overseen by none other than the cash eating slaughter bison that will ultiumately be sacrificed and fed to the corporate leaders when it becomes clear that pumping any more into the project will lower their profit margin farther than they want for continued growth.

but enough about WoW. you play WoW, you play a fad. you play everquest, you play a game worth playing. again, the most successful massively multiplayer online graphical multi user dynamic dungeon style gaming situation on the internet to date. i will get this expansion, even though i haven't been able to play consistently throughout the years i have played since 1998. my down times were spent in a war zone, or otherwise captured by the government's wasting of my time in uniform. but i just wanted to flame the retards whining about "oh why not another expansion for wow, or EQ2?

in a nutshell, your games suck, or else the people that run them can't stand to put enough time into them to make them better. and everquest is personally overseen by a team of people that care about their game, and will continue to keep it at the TOP of the MMO family.

strength in numbers means nothing if you're facing an a-bomb. WoW is only attribution to the amount of profoundly stupid people there are in this world.
