The 4D Rulers Website has word that the
licensing fees for the Amp II engine have been cut in half, presumably part of
their recent fund raising effort. Word is: "We just cut ALL our prices in half,
and upgraded the professional license package to allow unlimited users per
project. So for $1000 bucks your whole team can use the engine and make a
commercial game. Also, the upcoming 1.4 version has physics support, which users
will be able to upgrade for free. 1.4 will also come with an extensive model and
texture library, and our new max 7-8 plugin. Personal use licenses are just $99,
perfect for hobby or casual use."
