I was being sarcastic, but I doubt they lasted that long even

I think Mass Effect will come to the PC at some point, but I'll get a 360 for it. (Did the same for Jade...)

"Sure thing ma'am, we got like 200 in stock! They lasted for about ten minutes after the doors opened."

There I fixed it.

Mass Effect is looking bad-ass. Too bad no PC version...

At this time she's frantically trying to call local retailers to see if anyone has one

LOL. "Sure thing ma'am, we got like 200 in stock!"

This launch is a nightmare.

Only if you were one of the idiots standing in line. Everyone knew it was going to be like this.

I imagine Sony is ecstatic. There getting a huge amount of free publicity out of the situation.

Mass Effect makes Gears of War's game design look like a joke in comparison. Definitely looks like it will satisfy both my RPG and FPS desires.

WTF? The Wii plays all GameCube games. How is that not backward compatible.

That's true except for the GameCube games ... and the N64 games ... and the SNES games .... you can see where I'm going.

Yeh...but except for the 'Cube games, which I gather are playable on the Wii, the others mentioned are emulated. I'd love to see a "legacy" peripheral put out for the Wii that would allow me to plug my N64 games directly into the console instead of, you know, having to buy the same game all over again.

Congrats to you, Jack Trenton, for officially becoming the idiot of the week.

He's stating that the Wii has no backwards compatability. That's true except for the GameCube games ... and the N64 games ... and the SNES games .... you can see where I'm going.

Anyway, 2 days till the Wii and I'm psyched. The wife found out how much the PS3s are going for on EBay and chewed my ass for not preordering. At this time she's frantically trying to call local retailers to see if anyone has one. Pregnant women are so whacked.

I wonder how many auctions will be up by this evening.
