Stalking
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. on IGN talks with Dean Sharpe about S.T.A.L.K.E.R.:
Shadow of Chernobyl, GSC Game World's long-in-development first-person
shooter: "There are number of reasons why it's so late. Probably the biggest
thing is that it was just over ambitious. The guys at (developer) GSC really
wanted it to be the end-all, do-all game, and I think they got a little
caught up in adding features - especially based on community requests.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R has a huge community throughout the world and I think GSC just
listened too much to what they wanted sometimes. Also, they tried some new
things that just didn't work. Obviously, if you try and do things that
haven't been done before, there's a risk of it not working. That's what
happened a lot with the game's complete open-endedness - it just didn't
work. And it had to be changed."
- Dungeons and Dragons Online
Another
30 Minutes on Module 3 with Turbine on Dungeons and Dragons Online at
TenTonHammer is a Q&A with Turbine about coming changes to the D&D
MMORPG: "Module 3 is now known as the Demon Sands, and our semi-official
launch date is October 25, 2006. Demon Sands will be our third free Module
in addition to the almost monthly content updates and continuous hot fixes.
It will be the biggest free content update I've ever seen by any company."
- Strike Force: Red Cell
The
Strike Force: Red
Cell Q&A on VG Core talks with Mike Hamlett about the upcoming retail
installment of Strike force for the PC and Xbox 360: "The Reality Engine can
compete really well with Unreal3 and we can actually pull off some things
with Reality that U3 can't do. I think one reason Reality doesn't get as
much coverage anymore is because Epic bought them out and nobody can
purchase the engine at this point. We got a really great deal with Reality
and we have unlimited development rights with the engine. Our plan is to
show what we can do with Strike Force Red Cell and then continue on with
more games."
- Thrones of Chaos
Thrones
of Chaos Ownership Change: The True Story on MMORPG.COM is a Q&A with
the folks from Loud Ant Software attempting to clarify the nature of Thrones
of Chaos, their coming MMORPG, as it relates to the assets from Mourning
upon which it is partly based: "We were looking to get into the MMOG
industry but did not want to build completely from scratch. After having a
few different projects evaluated by consulting firms that work within the
same industry this was the one that ended up fitting our needs best. This
allows us to build upon some solid ideas and bring a professional touch to
the existing assets and also allows us to enter the market fairly quickly
and at much less expense."

Dean Sharpe is the only honest person attached to this game. I've been saying for years that GSC bit off more than they can chew. It took an AMERICAN to take over and admit that. Never trust Russians. (or Ukranians, whatever.)
Now check out the terrible fansites like http://oblivion-lost.de or the official boards amd Sharpe is regarded as the next Hitler.
Also, Stalker has dragons now.
