Jaenos, I dont get why you are calling this a 'sweatshop', these people must have the same skill level as you if they are doing the same job, the only diffence I can see is that maybe the cost of living in Shanghai/China is lower therefore the wages are lower.
In ten years there isn't going to be a 3d arist career in north america most likely, and if they are it's going to be a blue collar job that pays almost as much as this slave labour shite.
I don't think these people are slaves, and I wondered why you expect your job not to be blue collar job in ten years when, if my understanding is right, you are just making 3d models, unless you concive and desgin them, which will most likly be done by the best person for the job and not outsouced.
Do you have any solutions to this delemia? What can you offer that the Chinese cant? Other than a need for more money than they do.
