yep, i noticed mine was deactivated last night, too. i thought it was just because i lied about how actively i played BF2, and how I only played bf2142 for like 30 minutes over the past 4 days or whatever

Logged on to play BF2142 today and its deactivated my key, I suppose thats the end of the beta tuning test. Have to wait for the demo now.at first I was underwelmed by bf2142 but the more I played it and got the hang of what was happening I began to enjoy it more.Like the best albums you initialy dont like em at first but they grow on you.

You and your kindred daily make this site a complete pain to read. you ruin nearly every topic with one complete BS post after the next. Lol, get off the computer once in awhile. You let people you can't even see bother you too much.

| The game is pretty, but I don't like its futuristic theme. I will stick with BF2 and its mods. |

I haven't played it but I'm unimpressed. I think it's far too soon for a sequel, particularly when the engine has barely changed. I also think the theme is disappointing - BF2 works so well because it is a contemporary theme that you can relate to... BF2142 just looks baron and unappealing to me. That's not to knock the gameplay, which I'm sure will be as good as BF2, if not better.
I will not be buying it because I do not want to support EA's relentess pursuit of sequels. If they cut off support for BF2 prematurely, like they have done for their sports games, then that will be the final straw.

I've been in since day 2 or so of the beta, and as much as i wanted to hate the game, i keep finding reasons to like it. i'm an old school FPS vet from 3Wave days and i'm very picky about my games..FYI. sure there are issues in the game, such as inconsistant damage or random hitscans (although, they sure did seem to fix the hitscan on beta 2).. but overall, the game is fun.
and let me tell you.. the first time i attacked a titan i had serious Tribes1 flashbacks. I wish there were a few more automated defenses that were useful (like the tribes built-in turrets, or cameras, better mines).. but maybe those will exist in the other titans. anyhow, the game has a few issues i'd like to see worked out, but overall, it's a fairly fun game, if for no other reason the titan attack/defend scenarios.

40 minutes is longer than I expected them to last -- I logged in and got mine at like 1:40pm EST thinking there would be no chance of me getting one...I must have been one of the last ones. Admittedly, 65,000 keys (and now 75,000) are already out there...so the next batch of keys will probably last even longer.

It's over. If you didn't get a key in the first 40 min of it being open, you are SOL. I had a class from 1 till 2, so that made me screwed.
Hopefully they will have a demo out before the game, because I really don't want to get burned on buying this like I did on BF 2. I only got 2 months worth of "fun" out of it, including the *cough* expansion pack. I don't think I have had a more frustrating time trying to play a game online in the 10 years I have played FPS on the net.

Regardless, I think Hellbinder has proven himself, time and time again, to have the lowest standards as to how to spend his time and money.
I don't know if he's disliked a single video game. Ever. If someone put Gator/GAIN/Claria's spyware on a disc and called it a "game" to try to uninstall it Hellbinder would be here talking about how it's the most innovative release since Contract JACK and how it's the best $40 he's ever spent. And, of course, how we're all pests for disliking it. Because having opinions that aren't always positive and gushing, particularly where our time and money is involved, is wrong. Wrong wrong wrong. Bad free thinkers!
