On second thought I wonder if Blue still has that plant he was gonna give the smurf.....
Is it a marijuana plant? You know I love to inhale the marijuana and get high.

If that sounded so fake because it is, I do not smoke weed. I do crack.

What? You don't put a drop of icing in the center and then spread it around with the bottom of another cake...?

I agree with Batman here. Most cops don't use a "fuck you" attitude - they use an attitude to demonstrate that they are in charge. As soon as a cop starts answering every question their suspect poses to them, the cop is seen as less in-control of the situation. Oftentimes the police are outnumbered and maintaining control is absolutely essential. From a cop's point of view, you pretty much have to look at every situation as potentially being the worst you've had, because you never can tell who's going to go nuts and attack, or who's got a gun or a knife. Especially in the United States, where our cops often land in deep shit for defending themselves. If you can't fight them, sometimes you've just got to come off as a controlling asshole to keep it from getting out of hand.

39. 'Dilbert' creator Scott Adams weds Jul 25, 2006, 19:27 Warhawk

SAN FRANCISCO, California (AP) -- Scott Adams called his weekend wedding aboard a yacht in the San Francisco Bay "tremendous," but said he doesn't expect to win a dance competition anytime soon.

Adams, 49, creator of the "Dilbert" comic strip, and Shelly Miles, 37, were married Saturday evening on the Commodore Galaxy yacht by the ship's captain. About 150 guests attended.

"This wedding has taken more planning than the invasion of Iraq. And yet there is still one guaranteed failure built into the plan: the first dance," he wrote in an entry dated Saturday.

Sounds like my dancing - I am entirely too gringo to bust a move.

The real Enahs would be perfectly happy with a bowl of strawberries for his birthday!

Well, truth be told I am also torn between the Ice Cream cake and a cake made by a local bakery that does have fresh strawberry slices in it. But it is still a real cake with lots of sugar, just has a creamy center with strawberry. It is really damn good to, but I think I will go with the Ice Cream cake. I am just so picky about my food that everyone of my friends knows to let me get myself the damn cake. Plus I think more people will enjoy the Ice Cream cake then the Strawberry one as it is not really a birthday cake, just a desert cake.

am gonna have me a nice big Cookies and Cream ice cream cake for my birthday Thursday!

No, I do it to improve the taste conductivity.

hehehe I love donuts.

Ahh the, the truth comes out. You only want to go into law enforcement for the free donuts. You know just for walking into Krispy Kreme they give you a free donut right? Even if you are not a cop.

Donuts are good. But I prefer them without the icing. Too much sugar for my taste with it. Not that the cake part is not mostly sugar, but it does not taste like pure sugar. Raspberry and blueberry filled donuts without icing are the best. And no, I have never had a strawberry filled donut before. Then again, I scrape all but the thinnest, tiniest layer of icing off my cakes too.

I'd be willing to bet dollars to donuts

hehehe I love donuts.

Definitely try to get that police report though -- always wanted to know what goes in one of those

Not sure when it will be public, but I will see. A whole lot of nuttin' goes in them. Unless the officer is a really good writer and can recall everything that happened - of which most can't even spell correctly! (most machines that are used for writing reports don't have spell check!) A lot of reports are only 1-2 paragraphs. Which doesn't help their cause if it ever does go to trial.

I am sure they explained everything to them down at the precint.

They probably did.. but honestly, how hard would it have been for them to answer the question on the spot?

I'd be willing to bet dollars to donuts that a simple and reasonable answer from the cops would have produced IDs from the zombies without further need for confrontation. There is nothing in the article to suggest that those people were anything but a bunch of zombie-lovers dancing. Any other descriptions of "ghoulishness" and the like are purely subjective.

So should we be happy that these officers tied up their time that evening messing with a bunch of dancing teenagers dressed like zombies just to show them who has the power in that situation?

Are we REALLY going to buy the "simulated weapon of mass destruction" line? WTF does that even mean? Is it also illegal to drive a cargo van into the CBD there?

In a situation like this when someone asks a simple (and reasonable) question of a civil servant, I can't see how it makes ANY sense for that person to refuse an answer.

In this instance the police seem to think they did the right thing by showing those punks who's boss.. looks to me like all they accomplished was to waste a whole bunch of their valuable time messing with a bunch of admittedly weird kids who posed no threat to the good people of Minnesota, and who likely could have been dealt with by simply offering answers to their freakishly simple and reasonable question about why they were being questioned by the police.

Exactly. Respect is a two way street.

I agree 100%.
The zombie people are claiming victimization (per the paper) - as do all who think they were wrongly incarcerated.

6-7 people, all who went to the station willingly.
2 cops vs 6-7 people, it isn't a "fuck you" attitude, it is command presence. I am sure they explained everything to them down at the precint.

Under those circumstances, it's hard to blame some of the zombies from choosing the same "fuck you" attitude the police arrived with..
