Kane & Lynch: Dead Men Revealed

Game Informer Online reveals the cover story from the August issue of their print magazine, which is Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, a third-person action game from IO Interactive, leading GameSpot to point out that this seems to obviate the rumored sequel to Freedom Fighters for the time being. Word is:

All right, you’ve waited long enough. The next big cover story is Kane & Lynch: Dead Men. It’s basically a third-person action game for Xbox 360 and PC with a full co-op play option, intuitive squad tactics, and a hearty online multiplayer component. Expect a few surprises from the developer that brought you Hitman and Freedom Fighters.

Get Adblock then. Or ideally Adblock Plus with Filterset.G plugin. I never (ever) see adverts anywhere on the web now. It's like browsing back in 1997. It's faster, it's less annoying, it's just how browsing is supposed to be.

I have firefox and still see them. They don't come up in a system window that you can x out of, just a floaty graphic.

Firefox FTW!

Either that or peerguardian with ad and spyware lists installed seem to block them.

I agree about the covering ads, but he does have to pay the bills somehow. It bugs me but I put up with it for the greater good hehe.

Too bad IO, I find their concepts outweigh the actual gameplay, their controls are always chuggy.

I haven't had any problems with their controls except for the original Hitman. That was problematic, for sure. Since then, no problems whatsoever. More importantly, IO needs to work on their AI, which has always been their weakest point. Good AI is especially important for a game like this.

Really enjoying the ads that hover over and hide the text on your web site Blue. Makes it hard to even come here anymore.

Note to devs FWIW: games with co-op support instantly rocket to the top of my "interested" pile even when it's a genre I'm not particularly interested in.

You still need to make a good game, but you instantly stand a FAR better chance of selling me a copy if there's co-op support in there.
