I believe the current exchange rate is 1.83 dollars per pound. That makes £149.99 equal to around $275. See, negates my argument all together. Again, I'm just hoping for $200 US.

Not sure on the exchange rate, but I'm sure someone will school me on it. If it's a 1-to-1 exchange then I'm calling bullshit. Nintendo would be smart to sell this puppy at $200; the public is pushing for it and anything less will make the consumer question the quality of the system.
Granted I would be happy with $149, but I would rather pay $199 and get another controller, a pack-in game, or some VC games.
Either way, I can't remember being this excited for a system since I first played Mario64 with the analog control pre-launch at Toys-R-Us.
