Out of the Blue

Today's adventure in driving was returning from the train station after dropping MrsBlue when a woman exercised some questionable judgment of how much time she had to cross my path to get to an off-ramp. It was not that I had to slow to yield to her insanity, I had to come to a screeching halt to keep from t-boning her. On the bright side, a moment like that can replace the day's first cup of coffee as a waker-upper.

Is it in your interest for these countries to have such technology? No but I don't see how it's much of a difference whether your dumbfuck John Wayne president has his finger on the button or some idiot in North Korea . The president of the US has -contrary to the mad guy in North Korea- openly and publicly talked about actually using nukes in recent history. So who's really threatening safety here? You know what? If a second 9/11 happens tomorrow (let's hope not but the US is begging for it every day) then we'll see the use of nukes by your country. I don't think there can be any doubt about it. That would then be the third time in history that nukes are used on people. All three times executed by who? That doesn't mean that I want other countries to have nukes as well. To the contrary. All efforts should be taken to avoid the spread of nukes. But if North Korea or whoever for some reason gets into the possession of the technology then I don't see why they should be stopped by force as long as they can guarantee that the technology doesn't fall into the hands of terrorists but that it will be kept top secret by the government. Which shouldn't be too much of a problem since owning nukes is a huge privilege that no nation is just going to share like that (also for other reasons like security, of course).
