True. I always wondered how many perks he gets from doing this site. The free cars, the beautiful groupies, as much Jolt as a fella could want, lifetime supply of refrigerator lightbulbs, not to mention Wads and Wads o' Cash. Probably has his assistants do all the work nowdays while he sits back by the pool at his Bermuda estate with an umbrella drink in one hand.
Must be nice ...

I came back to this thread hoping for an answer as well. Why would he be such a tease like that? I don't get it. Maybe he got a beta of an unreleased game and the NDA forbids he mention it. Or perhaps he doesn't do free game promotions. Or maybe it's some kind of hideous amoral game he enjoys in secret and doesn't want to admit it or give the company who created it free publicity.
Hey, if Blue doesn't fess up then we're free to dream up a few reasons, aren't we?

Well i have just been to the cinema to watch The Da Vinci Code. Wow. I haven't seen a movie that bad since i last watched Hercules in New York.
Now i found the book ok. It was easy to read, had a nice story to it, characters were well done, but it felt like a simpleton's book. No other way i can really describe it. The movie on the other hand was shocking. They added scenes, removed scenes and even added some stuff that was never even mentioned or hinted at in the book.
On top of that the acting was shocking, the albino Opus Dei guy had white irises, not red, and the dialogue. Oh my god was the dialogue shocking.
All in all a movie that should never have been made. Utter garbage.
On a side note it seems like Tom Hanks is getting a bit of turkey chin.

JP4 can be used as an "alternative" way to dispose of munition dumps, too. It's definitely the not *prefered*, but in places in Afghanistan/Iraq, it's not too much an issue. I've seen little gas tanks filled with the stuff, with an ounce of C4 placed on opposing sides of the tank (think of a tank on a gas grill), then those are placed around the dump the engineers wish to see gone.

Actually, pretty good odds it won't. The fuel-oxygen ratio is completely wrong (nowhere near enough oxygen) -- the match will just go out in the gasoline.
Now don't try this if you let the gas cap off the tank for a bit -- you'll have a big ass plume of flame before you even get the match to the fuel line.
The accident reminds me of one we had down here in Atlanta a few years back -- the first report was that a gas tanker had split asunder and spilled its entire load. The traffic reporter was imploring people to not smoke if they were near it.

Yup, twice. They had to revisit it using tracer rounds. And, unsurprisingly, it didn't work -- which they knew quite well being SFX guys.
About the only way for a car to explode like they do in the movies would be for there to be a leak between the fuel line/gas tank and the trunk, for fumes to fill the trunk, and a spark to be introduced at just the right time (when there's an ignitable fuel-air ratio). Then the car will go boom.

I saw about 15 minutes of the one where they proved that you can't "blow up" a car by shooting the gas tank or whatever, so I knew that one already. But I didn't watch the whole thing so I didn't know about the lack-of-explosions with cars.
