Don't bother with this one, for your own sake.

This is obviously a very very early beta. Full of bugs, placeholder voice acting, no AI. It does play like a budget military FPS, but it's so damn primitive I'm amazed it doesn't crash every three seconds in the first place.

This is the kind of demo that gets leaked, not released.

(...around ten minutes later...)

Well, I'll try to be objective. It's pretty bad. Not as bad as, say, Extreme Paintbrawl, but it is pretty bad.

Visually, it looks at least five, six years old. The water was especially horrible looking (hello, pixel shaders have been around for a while, Rebellion...)

The voice acting was atrocious, weapons sounded all right, music was a little too epic sounding for something as absurd as this game.

I don't see who this game can appeal to.

Sniper Elite is pretty decent. I wouldn't call that garbage.

What a total load of pants this game is, totally crap. Time warp back six years, and even then things were superior to this junk.

Abandonware!

Wow, it takes some real balls to release a game this bad. I can't stop laughing. I'd say the 180mb download is worth the laughs you will get out of it.

The voiceover for the guy who calls in the 'disturbance' is hilarious. The funniest thing I've heard since Resident Evil on the PS1, and this doesn't have the excuse of being a japanese game.

I am really just amazed anyone could seriously release this! Then to top it off there's National Guard logos all over the menus.

I looked up Rebellion's history and its not even a downward spiral, its a fucking freefall into spikes of pain!!!

You fking goofball , you dont need to look up a history you need to try stuff.

AvP was great
Rogue Trooper is great.
Gunlock was ok
the otheras I didnt try but show me a bad review on Rogue Trooper, or AvP .

Prism I havent heard of but im sure if I had a opinion, it would be my own and from trying it, not by bashing a company who does have some pretty good titles and have been around for a long time.

AVP1 was a good game aside from the "technique" of darkness being abused.

If it had client/server multiplayer instead of p2p, I think people would still be playing it online today. Great fun playing as an alien and a predator, but espicially an alien. Games today could learn a thing or two.

Instead we get to play as a

guy

walking down a

corridor

carrying a

gun

*sigh*

In all fairness, Rogue Trooper is actually quite a good game. Not long, and the graphics aren't great, but some new & innovative ideas (hidden under all the same old 3rd-person console shooter stuff).

Not on par with the original AvP. Not even close.

I've always dreamed of being a security guard so I think I'll give this a shot!

On a more serious note I've heard pretty good things about Rogue Trooper.
