If by "creamy smoothness" you mean 10-20 fps, then sure. For me, creamy smoothness means 60+ fps constant. I have an X1900XTX and I don't get 60+ fps constant, even at 1024x768.
Then update your drivers may be? I have 6x AA on, disant landscape, building, and tress on, bloom effect on, etc. No stutters.
Dunno what my FPS is, but then again this is not Quake or UT deathmatch I am playing here, just a single player RPG. I could care less about FPS as long as I dont get stuttering, which I dont.
