Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends Demo

As promised, a single-player demo is now available for Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends, providing a scaled-down sample of Big Huge Games' upcoming real-time strategy offering. The demo debuted on GameSpot (registration required), where they provide the following warning: "This is an unfinished version of Rise of Legends, and you may encounter bugs and other issues like long scenario load times along the way." Mirrors of the 620 MB demo can be found on on 3D Downloads, 3D Gamers, AOL Games, AusGamers, Computer Games, FileFront, FileNuts, Gameguru Mania, VGPRO, and Worthplaying.

There was a time were I would be exited about this game.
Now I get really bored of RTS games very quickly.
Is there any innovation left in this genera?

I really enjoy the total war series but that’s because it had turn based strat in there too.

I'm wondering if Rise of legends is just reheated C&C.
