I think I might be the only human being that has NEVER seen an episode of this show. Course I also never seen an episode of LOST, American Idol, Desperate Housewives, "insert cheesy reality show name here", Sex and the City, The OC, Arrested Development, 24, Medium, The West Wing, The E-Ring, Charmed, Crossing Jordan, Battlestar Galactica... The only show I do watch regular is Smallville, Icons, Attack of the Show, and whatever my TiVo thinks I will like...
Nope. Learn to read. Neither me or Ray has seen The Sopranos.
And the only shows I have seen in your list of not seen that I watch are BSG, Arrested Development. Not seen a single episode of the others. But the only show I watch in your list of watches is AotS.

But for those that love The Sopranos I'm happy for you guys. I can only imagine what it would feel like to have a favorite show come back on the air after a 2-year hiatus. Wish Trek: Enterprise would come back and at least finish season four and do a really strong fifth season. And of course the sleep hit of all time... Firefly. Man what a bummer.

I really enjoyed Carnivale and wish it came back to a season 3 but I guess there was no story left.
"No story left"=UG???? They cancelled it at the story's very climax!!
Those fuckin' pricks owe us at least another 2 hours of that show to wrap up the MASSIVE friggin' twist in the plot that they introduce in the last 3 minutes of Season 2!! (go back and watch it and tell me there aren't just a few loose ends there...)
I did like Rome though. It's a bit uneven in places when you take the season as a whole, but there are some excellent episodes in there, and it's great to watch the writers play around with the history the way they do -- keeps it very interesting.
They nearly lost me toward the end, but the last couple of episodes were just amazing. Gotta find out what happens with Lucious now, and they've got what, like 30-40 years of fascinating history to play with once Octavian/Augustus comes into power, so it should be pretty cool to see.
Too bad that one's not slated to air until sometime in 2007

Rome is a great show. I really enjoyed Carnivale and wish it came back to a season 3 but I guess there was no story left. You guys forgot 2 of the greatest shows on HBO...Entourage and Curb Your Enthusiasm!

yeh i know - anytime i see someone with a mustache i instantly lose my concentration and fall down, usually hitting my head on something - then wake up an hour later with no recollection of what ive done

AWESOME win tonight - beat the Mavs to move into 8th in the West and into the PO ranks/winning record for the first time all season.
OK, I didn't want Ron Artest before the trade, but he's got this team believing in themselves again for whatever reason, and I love it. Just keep his meds coming. 
I admit, I was wrong about his effect on the team. Glad it's Petrie pulling the levers on personnel and not me!

I know.
I just do not have any premium channels and have never gotten around to checking out the DVD's. One day, maybe. But my next DVD to come from NetFlix will be the first 4 episodes of season 4 of The X-Files, so I got a ways to go before I will even have time to start watching it.
BSG: Enahs, you're wrong. Except about the mustache. I like where this is headed.
I tired watching a movie sometime earlier this week on my DVR with Olmos….I gave up like 30 minutes into because he had a mustache in it and it was just incredibly distracting. The movie was ok up to that point, but it was just…well distracting!
I could see him with a beard and mustache, but just the mustache is some how oddly annoying and distracting. *shrugs* who knows.
As far as the show, it has the potential to head somewhere good, sst:
More actual battlestar galactica if they come back and kick some ass and begin fleeing again. But it has more potential to just be sucky then good :(.
It just pisses me off cause they could have so easily backed down on the over the top soap opera stuff and went to more thriller/drama/suspense.sci-fi.

Saw both the suicide and the shooting coming. I can't think they'll off him in the first episode, but he could end up in the hospital for an extended stay... that could certainly put a damper on things; especially since the captains would start fighting each other for top spot in his absence.

Yeh, when he said something like "wait right there" or "don't go anywhere" I was expecting him to come down and freak out. MAYBE with a bat or golf club. But Damn!
Now the question is, what happens next. Many (but not all) towns have a policy that they have to respond to a 911 call if nobody answers. But not all towns have the policy or capability.
I guess it's just wait-and-see.
