Afraid There's No F.E.A.R. Patch Yet

VU Games Community Forums have word that the version 1.03 patch for F.E.A.R. is still a ways off, in spite of reports that it would be released yesterday (story). There are comments from the Community Manager saying they don't know the originations of this story, claiming it was unofficial information, even though it was based on a VU Games Press Release.

I'd wait for a patch that optimizes the damn engine! LOL, twice it has happened to me that I've put together a new and reasonably stout computer only to have the misfortune of Monolith releasing a new game around the same time. It's a humbling experience. They make purdy engines but I wish they could crunch the code a bit better.
