Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah!
We had a great time at my bro's yesterday, it was fun spending some quality time with him, our sis-in-law, and our two nieces. The little ones even cooperated by alternating naps, so there was ample attention for everybody. I also received one of the great nostalgia gifts of all time, a reproduction of the classic Evel Kneivel stunt cycle. This is said to be from the original toy molds, though this is exaggerated at best, as even the box shows the full-face helmet of the original, while the repro has an open-face dealie (anyone who remembers Evel's landing techniques knows this is would have been a bad thing), and his bendi-flex body seems a little emaciated, but all indications are that he will work as well as the original (which was impressive). Anyway, this is oddly just two days after I explained to MrsBlue my childhood affection for this toy after it showed up in a rerun of That '70s Show. A very weird coincidence, to say the least. Now I'll have to see how many busses I can get him to jump over...
