Currently over 15,000 foreign troops in Afghanistan, with over half that being non-US. Back when we invaded Iraq it was, IIRC, closer to 45k troops with <20k from the US.
As for money -- based on the World Bank numbers (http://www.worldbank.org/artf) we aren't the largest donor -- the UK is. As best I can tell the US has donated a bit under 20% of the total amount -- certainly a hefty amount, but not the vast majority as your link would indicate.
Note that I'm still 100% behind the invasion of Afghanistan, and the continued fighting there. I think we had an absolutely valid reason for the invasion, and I think we still have some guy named "Osama bin Laden" in the area that we should probably capture at some point.
50% of the troops are from the U.S. and the rest are non-U.S. (I wonder how many are actually doing the fighting)? That's still far short of what I envison when I think of the "rest of the world". Maybe the rest of the world would stop seeing some of us americans acting arrogant when they start pulling their own weight. The UK has been one of the countries that has supported us right along in Afghanistan and Iraq, so I wouldn't include them in the group that you previously stated we've lost "goodwill" with. I'm tired of this "blame america" bullshit from Canadian, French and German politicans. They can take the advice of a little old Iraqi lady I saw the other day and "go to hell".
