In general that is what I was referring to, but not necessarily any particular state or proposal. National ID, a state-issued ID card, something. I know they now scan your tickets upon entering a Kings game with wireless scanners that instantly check a database to see if a ticket for that seat has been scanned already. Sounds like an easy system to implement (on a much larger scale, obviously) to voting locations for elections. Scan everyone's ID as they vote for positive verification they haven't already voted elsewhere. What's the problem with that?

I know you already know the answer.....private business vs govt contracts? Yeah right. The right person never gets the job. It is always George's buddy's best friend's brother that is retarded that always gets the contracts.

Same thing goes for highways and such here in MN.
Always "closed envelope bidding". Yeah right.
Takes them 7 years to do 10 miles of road and 3 bridges.
Ask anyone who lives in South Saint Paul, Inver Grove Heights, or Woodbury how that stretch of 494 over the river is doing. sheesh.

Zephablah and 3 handicapped kids could do it in less time.
