King Kong Demo

The promised demo for Peter Jackson's King Kong is now available, offering the chance to take on one mission as Jack and the other as Kong in a sample of the upcoming monster movie remake tie-in. Here's word from Ubisoft:

We're pleased to announce that the PC demo for the King Kong demo has now been released! The King Kong PC demo contains two levels from the game, one where you play at Jack Driscol and another where you play as the mighty Kong.

Full details and download link can be found here: http://www.kingkonggame.com/demo/

King Kong will be released on all platforms this November.

Stay tuned for information on our PS2 and Xbox demos (hopefully next week)!

Probably starforce. Since they need to protect the demo in order to protect the game when it's released otherwise crackers will use the demo files to crack the protected retail game.

Not that it matters. Every version of starforce has been cracked or emulated, even the newest DVD version of starforce has been emulated.

Stupid protection system.

Which? Does it have starforce? Because if so, I may as well just cancel the download now.

I just tried it. I can't get the view to stop spinning around; some sort of mouse problem. Anyone else having this problem?

Will keep trying.

Downloading now.

Even nicer, it looks like Comcast must have upgraded speeds in the area given my (relative) crazy download speed.
This looks really good - hope it runs well.
Loving Fileplanet :),
