Out of the Blue

We recently played on a ranked BF2 server with the same griefer for the third time, he spent the entire game from beginning to end harrassing his teammates in a manner completely invisible to the other team. I knew he was a problem already (I mean who spends hours not doing anything but being a nuisance?), but after digging up this guy's stats, I was surprised how easy this would be to tell without actually playing with him. This makes me think that in a system where stats are collected, it may be fair to expect a player to be banned from playing after he runs up a career that includes a global score of 45 based on 12 kills, 455 deaths, and 250 teamkills augmented by 112 pts of team vehicle damage (it seems he has a specialty of planting C4 in friendly vehicles). Unfortunately he just plays on. The vote system, crippled by requiring the enemy team to understand that a player is being nominated for behavior they might not be aware of, has only managed to kick this guy nine times, and it really seems to me that something should be considered to ban players after enough of this crap. It seems possible this could even be done without any patching of the game, so maybe someone out there could consider looking into making things a little less accommodating to those who get their fun by raining on others' parades.
