Sphinx,
As an IT Director who uses the "Scotty Principle" on a daily basis, I couldn't agree more. I have a friend who is a programmer who constantly over-promises and under delivers (delivers late). I'm trying to teach him, but he never watched Star Trek. Not sure he will ever get it lol
Thanks James.

-- He cut the possum's face off then cut around the eye socket. In the center of the belt buckle, where the possum's eye would be, he has placed a small piece of wood from his old '52 Ford's home made railroad tie bumper. Damn, he misses that truck. |

No casualties, and one reported injury. It seems that this attack was done by either amatures, or by professionals that want to keep the public and law enforcement agencies at a constant awareness.

They seem to think that its detonators that have gone off, and not the actual bomb. But this seems strange. But meh. Could be copycats then, but who knows.
Wonder if our process manager that lives in London is here or there today...

Aye more terrorist shit. Although no-one seems to have any information.
There's only one person who's said he saw an explosion, other than that it just says "Police are investigating incidences on the Underground".

Never forget the Scotty Principle. "If it takes N amount of time to do something then tell them it will take 2*N. That way when you finish it in N time you're a hero."
Obviously this is true for him as he said he'd die in 2010 but died in 2005. He is a miracle worker. |

Many moons ago when I live in California my sister was a counselor at a Camp one of his kids went to, and she got to meet him. Having no idea who he was until a few months later all she had to say were kind words of the man.
May his next journey be as exciting as his previous one.

Probably my favorite overall character from the entire Star Trek series. Geordi is a poor substitution for the wit and charm of Scotty. Lad, we'll miss ye.

What a bummer, Scotty. It's sad to see an icon of Sci-Fi and pop culture go.
