I am actually still banging away at the crashing problem on my GeForce card in Battlefield 2. It turns out that while running at lower resolutions is more stable, it is still prone to the occasional BSoD with NV_DISP in an infinite loop. Guess I really am going to have to experiment with swapping this card into another machine to further isolate the problem. Sigh.

So, no more Beam me up's, eh?

Seems the AC in our apartment stopped cooling yesterday. 94 indoors, although it's usually kept at 80, is pretty bad, especially when you have two kids, one of which is just a month old. Was still at around 84 at midnight last night. Hope it gets fixed today since outside is supposed to reach 108.

Reality is a nice place, but I wouldn't want to live there!
