I am actually still banging away at the crashing problem on my GeForce card in Battlefield 2. It turns out that while running at lower resolutions is more stable, it is still prone to the occasional BSoD with NV_DISP in an infinite loop. Guess I really am going to have to experiment with swapping this card into another machine to further isolate the problem. Sigh.

What kind of card is it? I have a 6600 pci-e and I was having problems w/ computer restarting by itself. Not crashing, but rebooting. I went round and round with HP, Microsoft cust support, and Nvidia, and they all suggested something different.

Come to find out my power supply was below min. req. for the video card. I was only having trouble with two games: KOTOR and Chronicles of Riddick - both of which were available on X-box so I went the cheap route.

If I have any more trouble I'll probably replace the power supply..
