Having someone else check. I logged in with both an ftp client and manually through the browser (firefox) and both see the same thing, which is nothing.
Incidentally, in the next lower post about the demo coming out someone mentioned you can only play on the map in the demo for 10 minutes... This true?

What kind of speeds are you getting there? My GSpot download is down to 45K/sec so if that server is better, I may start it again there.

Sorry Jow and Beamer. I can't explain it as well. I was able to see it in both Firefox and safari on my mac. My mac has the faster download, lol.
I wish you guys luck. (Update, it's 1.43 pac time here and i just checked again, ITs THERE!!!)
Clear your cache or reboot or try another machine!

PS, there is also "battlefield2demostandaloneserver.exe". I am getting that too

Towards the top there is a "battlefield2demo.exe" that is what I am seeing. I just clicked right on the link that was in the dudes post.

I still can't believe I got over 700k/s from download.com and it was bogus.
Even more shocking is that it was briefly over 1MB/s. First time I've hit that with my new ISP.

Looks like the Worthplaying link brought down the site. I WAS downloading from download.com till it kicked me in the nads and released my connection - BASTARDS. Hopefully someone puts it out on torrent.
Edit: I'm still not seeing it on EAs site. I must not be looking correctly. I see 3 BF1942 downloads but no BF2.
