These 3 large screenshots were sent along (complete with watermarks!) by Thearrel 'Kiltron' McKinney (now of Futrix Studios) showing off the Quake II for DOOM 3 modification that will be released on The Mean Arena when complete.

Yeah... Generations was shut down because they used Quake 1 material... I think they ALSO used Doom 1/2 textures, but I'm not entirely sure on that. Now, after they were shut down, SoG was created in order to make a 100% legal "Generations clone". iD didn't shut them down because everything was made from scratch, EVEN if it was the same exact premise (multiplayer mod with Quake 1, Doom, Wolfenstein, and Quake 2). Oh yeah, there was also YFDoom for Quake 1... that didn't get shut down either, even if the 3D models had a striking resemblance to Doom's sprites (especially the first person view weapons... everything was almost exact).
