Battlefield 2 Date?

EA Games España (thanks WOLFGaming Network) has what seems to be an updated release date for Battlefield 2, which is generally slated for an April-June 2005 release (story). According to the Spanish EA site, the game is due on June 24, 2005.

Not to derail the topic completely, but I find it funny that, for such a "niche" sleeper game, Tribes has influenced almost every modern FPS: whenever there's a voice menu, it's almost always bound to V by default, just like T1. (Which, as far as I'm aware, was the first game to use such a built-in voice bind menu.) Not really relevant to the thread at all, but the thought occured to me a couple nights ago whilst running through some other game setups and the talk of Tribes' command screen made me think of it again. Just a proud bragging point for the first Tribes... "Everyone loves our voicebind menu, whoooohoo!" m19 This comment was edited on Feb 8, 14:25.
