WoW Shortages

The World of Warcraft Collector's Edition on EBgames.com is now carrying a $149.99 list price, as limited supplies of Blizzard's MMORPG in stores have made the game so scarce that such gouging entrepreneurialism is possible. Thanks Voodoo Extreme.

- Class balancing is a TOTAL joke. This game is made for PvP, yet the PvP is a total pain in the butt because of (un)balancing (and the lack of the promised honor system).

- What the fuck did Blizzard think when they decided to do patching only once a month? This game has so many issues that it should at least be patched once a week. Instead we get to play with lots of bugs for over a month and then only very few are fixed.
I mean for a game like Diablo or WC3 this may be ok. But this is a freaking MMORPG!!!
I still have the hopes they will learn. Even SOE patched twice a week or more if there were serious bugs in the game (which this game has lots).

- Lag. Lag. Lag. And it doesnt get better at all. Its getting worse each week. Love the daily hangs in the auction house when I scroll down too fast, when I open my mailbox, when I open my worldmap, when I open my friendslist, the characters and NPCs not showing up for up to 2 mins because of lag, cant ressurect because of lag, corpse not showing because of lag, cant loot/mine/skin because of lag, pet wont show up after you called it because of lag (got me killed a few times already), mails taking HOURS or DAYS to arrive (sometimes they wont arrive at all), etc etc etc etc etc etc.

- Customer support. Lag is getting called "holiday season dependant". So how come the lag is still there and getting worse?
Issues are being ignored. Especially, as I said above, CLASS BALANCING and bugs!
There are so many obvious bugs that happen all the time. What for were the beta tests???

- Awesome forums. The forum-login servers are down up to 8 hours every day. How can one post issues with the game when the forums are down? As soon as server crashes, people cant let Blizzard know whats going on, and just hope they find out themselves. This has been going on since release, people are discussing/complaining about it EVERY day but get simply ignored.

I agree with Ray. I thought SOE was the worst of all. But Blizzard disappointed me badly and set a new record in incompetence.

Still the quests and nicely done atmosphere keeps me playing. Oh well, the pain of MMORPGs...
But I am pretty sure once I hit 60, seen everything and Blizzard keeps up with this shit, I am gone.

Oh and, I have lots of friends and guildmates and I continue to ask if they have the same issues as me (I specifically ask for this and that) and they all have the same problems.
I have learned that all the people who say they dont have lag, are used to 2-120 second delays. Plus most players are so passive that they dont even bother to say anything about it. Nope, they even flame you for criticsing Blizzard...
No MMORPG I played had this lag, and the wow beta didnt have this lag either.

I have given up on waiting for BIS to come back to their senses and do a real ArmA 2 successor.
