people whining about the ship date must have missed the last 3 STALKER updates, which were all delays... the last one being till June 05.... its not going to be coming anytime soon
and i have to admit, the lack of any eyewitness account of their revolutionary AI is decidely suspect, as is the state of the single player game as related by a recent french preview - which seemed to indicate that the PDA and dialouge functionality is still in the very early stages, as well as the non-existence of the quest system in general
looks like the hype machine has finally turned completely against these guys (as it always does after a certain time) but you cant feel sorry for them since they have been screaming for attention from day one
im not ready to write them off 100% yet, but im no longer hopeful that STALKER is a game that will actually live up to half the promises the devs have held on to..... and Im not talking about the ones they already admitted arent going to be in
