Out of the Blue

Remember I joked how it may have been an act of cruelty to watch the Giants game with the older Smurf when we were babysitting? Well obviously it was, and yesterday I got a phone call from him because he was in tears over the outcome of the game... it will take him a while to learn that losing is part of the game in sports. Of course I was in tears too, so I'm probably not the one to teach this lesson.

There's an afternoon shift as well, I'm just not on it. Once I get used to the morning hours, it'll be better anyway.

I did not like morning, and always made sure I started classes and work after noon time.

When I was forced into getting up early for school and work, everything fell into places after I got use to the early mornings.

I was now actually on a decent schedule, I had more time; when I was wanting to do “personal” things I was more aware and had a lot more energy (from a decent sleep schedule).
My studying time even went down greatly because I was now mentally there when studying; I got it in 1/4th the time.

Everything was better…except for those first 2 weeks when my body had to adjust!

Hopefully the same will be for you! And congrats on the new job!

I am going to have to find a new job next month, when the new semester starts and temporarily quite mine right now. And I am pissed as hell about it, it is all the way they have some classes stupidly scheduled. I have already successfully gotten enough people to sign a petition to force them to reworking their stupid schedule, unfortunately it is too late to do that for next semester (but they will for the following semester).

So as it stands I will be taking a class at 8 in the morning, 12:30 in the afternoon, and then 6PM (to 8PM too!) on MWF. And Labs in the evening too on TTR, and mid-day calsses on TTR too...

I am going to have to find some sucky job for just weekends….and not buy any computer games or parts or ANYTHING fun for a whole semester :(.

That’s a deep kiss too, like the Europeans. You know the French they have to unhinge their jaw to show love.
