- Silent Hunter III
SimHQ's
Silent Hunter III Q&A chats with the team behind the latest installment
in this naval simulation series: "Performing the tutorial before starting
the campaign will be optional. It is our intention to stimulate the player
to pass through it at least once and we wanted to reward them for that.
Otherwise, the campaign will start with different flotillas and at different
dates. The earliest campaign will start in 1939. The latest will start in
1943. The available U-boat types will vary depending on flotilla and year of
starting the campaign."
- JFK Reloaded
The
JFK Reloaded Q&A on Computer and Video Games discusses the controversial
assassination simulation, explaining how they have managed to "solve" the
40+ year-old question of the JFK murder in half-a-year: "We spent about six
months researching the period and recreating it in incredible detail; the
ballistics, the shot timings, the cars, the number of occupants, the
buildings, the streetlamps, everything is as it was. We're incredibly proud
of the quality of the results and because of the user controlled camera
systems, you can put yourself anywhere, rewind, run slow-mo and imagine you
were actually there."

You and me both, brother. Seeing the ad for it on the back of the Pacific Fighters manual makes me want it even more. Good to know that the age of the detailed simulator isn't over yet.
