Out of the Blue

I am incredibly happy, as my search for Has Been, the new William Shatner album, has born fruit. In honesty, all it took was finally working up the nerve to ask where it was in the store... I had previously allowed my self-consciousness over this to get the better of me. Luckily I ran into a clerk at the store that was nerdy enough I was willing to just go with it, and he was nice enough to dig it up for me. Anyway, it's even better than I had expected. It's worth the price of admission for the Joe Jackson track alone.

on the broadband/ dialup thingy, its odd that even when we are considering moving house the first thing I check is the broadband availability checker with the postcode....

It's a codeword. Brain means head because your brains are inside your head. When someone says "get brain" what they mean is "get head". Which is also another slane for "oral sex".

seems to be a take on the ever popular "getting some skull"

Oooo, you probably missed the gold announcement for Duke Nukem Forever as well. And Daikatana 2: Robofrogs Attack!.

I'm bouncing between 40kb/s - 70kb/s with the wow downloader. I started with 6kb/s, and it may have just taken a minute to get started, but likely the speed boost is from forwarding ports 3724,6112,6881-6999 (as per the wow website). Make sure your firewall/router is setup properly!

More likely than not you managed to hook a seeder.

That is what makes the difference most of the time. Although the ports don't hurt.

While in dial-up/hippy hell, did I miss a "Gold" announcement for this (PC) game? I know the original announcement projected December-ish, but the latest PC Gamer has an advertisement stating December 2004.
If you can read this, you are very bored.
Thinking that would be my eighth "holiday" game purchase,

I have no idea why/how that would apply to you, but it sounds good!

They will still put you in jail for murder last time I checked.

Really? Talk to OJ about that one!

And if Kobe's case is any indication, (probable) rape isn't worth jail time any more, either.

Vampire on the 16th? Fuck yeah! My suggestion is you all buy it first and play the hell out of it, then trade/sell it and get HL2 because it'll have much more longevity with the mulitplayer, etc. That's what I'm doing at any rate.

OH he is dead alright.

All the other guys are arguing with each other over who gets what position of power. Pretty sad really. Arafat was a fighter, he fought for Palestine. These guys are all beaurucrats fighting to see who can get the best position to sell out the people.

Poor Arafat. I wonder what that does to your spirit? You die and instead of your body dying and your spirit being released, some frankenstein doctors keep the body going until they feel like letting it die.

Anyone see the reports he was poisoned? They were saying his low blood count level could not be accounted for anything within normal medical experience.

I wonder of they got those DNA specific bioweapons finished or if it was just some run of the mill poison?
