TRIBES: Vengeance Dedicated Server Plans

A pair of stories on TribalWar (thanks Frans) outline the status of dedicated server software for TRIBES: Vengeance. They have word that a stripped-down server executable is currently in QA at Vivendi Universal that will hopefully be approved for release soon. They also have a quick Q&A with TRIBES brand manager Patrick Dillon on the failure to have a dedicated server ready with the game's release, which they call an "egregious mistake."

Looks like I'll be holding off purchasing this for a bit - if at all. I don't understand how it could be left out of the original plans. Oh well.
