Nevermind. I didn't know I could replay back after I lost the mission and resume at that spot. I wished the game could FF a lot faster.

Great demo!

I am trying to figure out why I cna't play the MOUT Training in the demo I downloaded from Fileplanet. At first I thought it was the firewall blocking FSWs attempts to access the internet but even after I allowed it to access the net it still won't allow me to play the training map.

EDIT: I had to reinstall to fix the issue. THen I played it through entirely without loosing a single guy. Though did encounter a few strange areas when the AI would not engage a target and even let him run up to cover after being given a firezone... they should have chewed him up before he even made it to cover, yet they stood there with their fingers up their butts and did nothing. I hope this is just an isolate AI bug.

I have bought the pre-order and am looking forward to it.

Yes, each player controls a squad.

I only finished the mount (training) and WOW!!! This is fun. Yeah, the graphics are washed because of Normal, but wow. I want to know what co-op (2 players support) is like!! Does each player get his/her own group(s) or something?

I can't wait to start the actual game later in the day.

As for the washed-out textures, when I looked in the options menu to put the texture quality on high, I found that it only went up to normal. Most likely they cut high quality textures from the demo to save space, but seeing as 300 MB is on the small side these days, that would have been a poor decision. I want to know how the game looks and plays with the settings I intend to run it with.

Interesting, but I'd have to agree on the repetitiveness. On a plus side, it does make me want to play BiA even more now.

Yep, I can see how this game would get repetitive fiarly fast. Not including a game editor and/or a random mission generator is sacriledge because this game is seriously limited. I couldn't even see a point in replaying it once you're done.

That aside you can tell it's an obvious console port as the textures look pretty washed out. The models are pretty nice in the way they move. The chatter in the squads can be pretty funny.

I'd say the demo is worth the DL to check out, but I'll pass on the game. If it had a game editor that allwoed for custom missions I probably would have bought it, but as it stands I think I'll pass untill it hits the bargain bin.

The gameplay on the x box on the first level was almost exactly the same as the last level. Pin down, move up second squad to flank, kill em, repeat. Good of them to try something a little different but overall it was dull after a while... whilst in most games they up the ante during the game by bringing in super troops and super enemies and new weapons, FSW has none of that for the sake of realism, bar a few delta force bods to play with later on.

You will enjoy the first level perhaps but it is very samey after that.
