UT2004 Patch

Epic Games announces the release of the official version 3323 patch for Unreal Tournament 2004, saying it is identical to the beta patch that sort of wandered into public circulation over the weekend (story). Here is a list of mirrors for the patch: 3D Downloads, 3D Gamers, ActionTrip, FileFront, FilePlanet (registration required), FileShack (registration required), Fragland, Gamer's Hell, and Worthplaying. Here's word from Epic:

This patch is completely compatible with the retail version and previous patches - servers and clients of any flavor can connect with each other.

This patch will not overwrite your ut2004.ini and user.ini files, except to update settings as necessary.

The patch change list is included in the patch. After installing the patch, you can find it at ut2004\help\readmepatch.int.txt

Ah, glad I didn't get the beta patch afterall.

3DGamers used to be my favorite place to download files from (since I'm not registered with another site), but recently the servers have been either real slow, or already at capacity. I wonder if they'll be able to fix that w/o starting to charge for certain servers..
