OK guys, listen, the SMARTGART thing doesn't actually do anything. The ATI card will run at whatever you set AGP to IN YOUR BIOS
This is true, on a hardware level. However, on a VIA chipset, if the SMARTGART is turned to off, I think on a driver level it won't work.
If AGP was set to off in your BIOS I don't think you'd even get any image on your monitor. Kinda hard for the processor to talk to the graphics card that way.
