Out of the Blue

Had a lovely time with the family yesterday at BabyEgo's birthday, though spontaneous plans subsequent to that had us getting in extraordinarily late, which conspired with other factors to derail today's update a good bit. Our little niece is just the happiest child, it's very rare to see her not wearing a broad smile, and she seems to be willing to put up with demands for her attention from anyone, from her doting relatives, to the couple of other tykes in attendance, to even Hudson the wonder dog, who is a great deal larger than she is. Of course the summer chose yesterday to rear its ugly head with a sweltering overcast day, but even the storms held off for the most part, and a fine time was had by all.

How archaic.

If anything, I would feel bad for somebody that needed $5 that badly.

Betthing they think they sure showed her <rolling eyes>,

stealing under $5 worth of gas
That's the problem, she didn't steal enough, you have to be like Exxon or Haliburton and steal billions (trillions?) before you get any respect.

so by the same logic we should be able to get those responsible at Enron for bilking scads of investors out of billions to parade up and down in front of Enrons former world headquarters, correct?

no?

just teenage black chicks stealing under $5 worth of gas...

I honestly would've laughed in judges's face.

'm just glad companies are starting to wake up and are going to start requiring people to be connected to the internet to be able to place.

The only way this could work is if the content streamed to your computer while you were playing... Although even that could be broken and warezed with enough effort.

The only reason why multiplayer stops warez is because hackers can't control the servers (or if they do, they're easy targets).

Blue, I have been experiencing some ad “funk” that ought to be brought to your attention.
I am getting way to many ads with mullets in them…
No really, I am being serious here.

Getting Victoria Secret ads here for some reason.

On a more somber note:

http://www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/americas/08/01/supermarket.blast.int/index.html

340 bodies. I didn't know that many could people could be shopping all at once. I guess that's what I get for living in rural New York. That's the most people killed in a fire I think I've ever seen.

EDIT: Ah, it was a multilevel grocery store. Still.

We bury our sins here, Dave. We wash them clean.

I would take the quiet redneck racing advertisements over the loud Hidalgo pop-up.

Thinking we p\/\/n3d Blue's News! :o,

University physicists have created a freezer that can keep ice cream cold using sound waves.

It's about damn time. I remember first seeing something like this on the Discovery Channel many years ago.

You are correctly informed, had this been about 6 months earlier. VALVe said some time ago that they would not require the internet connection for single player, after that mini-fiasco with Steam. Then again, they may have pulled a 180 since then.

Where's my Doom 3!?!?

Warezer = Pedophile

They are the same ilk in my eyes.
I'm just glad companies are starting to wake up and are going to start requiring people to be connected to the internet to be able to place. Half-Life 2 is going to be like that form what i've heard. They have a system that makes you stay connected to the internet to play even sinlgeplayer.
