How the mechanic at the dealer missed the broken sway hanging next to the shock is the part I still can't figure.You might look into how your warranty is worded. As one of the reasons of bringing it to a “dealer certified” mechanic / or the dealer it’s self is to notice these things, and avoid expensive repairs. You might be able to get this work paid for by the dealership/car company/warranty, or at least help pay for it, if they are not already (though replacing it with an Aftermarket product, they would not have to pay for, but the other parts and labor they can at least help!).
