Oops, almost forgot.
I have a 1992 Buick LeSabre with 140K miles on it... Wow, can I be a member of your supa-sekrit DIY club? I really hate taking the bus!

I'm sure everyone has the knowledge, time, money, tools and garage space to tackle something like this. Right?
(p.s. car has since been primered, my engine should be coming the 1st or 2nd week of August. Now I just need to get a hang of MIG welding so I can replace a couple body panels...)

"Ahh anti-choice. Let me guess, you're pro-gun, pro-war, pro-death penalty, and anti-social programs, right?"
If you ask me, there's no other platform that makes sense.
Choice = murder of the unborn. What, 5 minutes before delivery is OK (abortion isn't murder)? 5 minutes after in the restroom at a school prom OK with you as well?
What's wrong with pro-gun? I personally do not have one in the house but I strongly support the ownership. I really like the low murder rate in Switzerland where many homes have them (all military age men have guns at home). It's what the idiots here do with guns, not the guns themselves. I wish the existing laws were stringently enforced and everyone had background checks and a waiting limit - no real reason not to for the type of purchase we're discussing.
Without war, one cannot have peace. A superior military and the proper use of it has a great influence on enemies. I am not specifically addressing any particular war with this comment.
Death is a heck of a deterrant to the repeat offenders of murders and other very serious crimes. What is the use of life sentences? Same thing, just quicker.
I do not like the government taking the money I worked for and giving it to lazy slobs on couches. You can always write an extra check to Uncle Sam if you feel you aren't paying enough. Government should be there for national defense (including locking down the borders), infrastructure, R&D, police, fire, hospitals, regulatory oversight. Things such as welfare and social programs are a waste of valuable resources. That money could be better spent.

Well FWIW it's also been reported over on HardOCP. I'm already running the SP2 eval for Windows XP but didn't notice if I already had DX9.0c though... DX installed fine and AVG reports no viruses. AdAware is clean, too. My only problem is I have virtually no games installed to test with.
At any rate, check the HardOCP link (link will hose the forums) at they give the official Microsoft link.
Yeah I just installed it, I can't seem to bring up the management window. Do you know what the enw command line is?

Yeah, but its just best to let things go and not get worked up about little talking points that people throw out. Well I disagree. Number one, those lies and myths aren't "little things". Number two, why should they be permitted to keep repeating them? If someone keeps repeating lies about you over and over, you just let them do so? Maybe you don't have a problem with that sort of BS, but I most certainly do.

Anyway, about the Directx 9.0c I think it won't be released ever alone since it is due to be released with the windows xp SP2 pack that is due out this month. I think they are just waiting for it to be released before they put out Directx 9.0c Well FWIW it's also been reported over on HardOCP. I'm already running the SP2 eval for Windows XP but didn't notice if I already had DX9.0c though... DX installed fine and AVG reports no viruses. AdAware is clean, too. Tone what down? They started it, I'm just finishing it. I'm so sick of those tired old myths and lies on the right, and they need to be dispelled once and for all. They're simply transferring their weaknesses onto us, and it needs to stop. They repeat those lies untill they believe them. Why should they be permitted to do so and not be called on them? Yeah, but its just best to let things go and not get worked up about little talking points that people throw out.
And Also
So you would take a life? Only if my life and my families life depended on it.
Anyway more about Directx 9.0c When you intsall it you need to do 2 things
Installing Managed DirectX requirements 1) .NET Framework is installed before calling the DirectX setup. 2) Use "/installmanageddx" command line parameter if using DXSetup.exe

Pro-gun for self protection (not to kill) and sport So you would take a life?
Pro-war only if the cause is right, as I said. So life really isn't sacred than, is it?
Tsk, tsk, not very christian of you. Unless you're one of those old testament sorts, which again is utter hypocrisy.
That's not to say I'm not a hypocrite myself (I can admit it to it, can you?), however my hypocrisy has its limits, whereas yours seems to know no bounds.

I loved it when one of the news bunnies said, after Bill Clinton's speech, that one woman in the audiance said (and she acts out the sexuality of the comment too) "Oh my god, he is soooo good." Here's a deal for the Republicans, we amend the constitution to give both Bill and Arnold a shot, nobody else later. Who wins? I bet Bill would seduce Arnold.
No new Daily Show tonight, dammnit, but there will be tommorrow. Tim Russert told Jon Stewart that Al Gore deleted a joke from his speech as follows:
"Bush's terrorism policy is like a drunk man looking for his keys. His friend finds him and asks where he left his keys, and the drunk points over across the room. The friend asks, 'well, why are you looking over here, instead of over there?' The drunk responds, 'Because this is where the light is.'"
Anyone hear ever read Martial or Juvenal? Juvenal: Satire 1, 1st century A.D., Rome, line 1 "People ask me how can I write satire? I respond, 'How could I NOT?'

Taking a life shouldn't be anyone's choice. But you're pro-gun/war? Tell me, are you a vegetarian? gg hypocrisy.
Im guessing when you say people you mean democrats, I would enjoy that. And I would like to see the military they produce, or the lack there of.
I was hoping someone like you would say something like that. Not only can I prove that it's the right that produces the cowards. You've also shown your clear disdain for America. Typical. You should look into emmigrating to communist China where you'll never have to worry about elections, political dissent, personal choice, etc.

Im guessing when you say people you mean democrats Exactly.
As for the military, I'm not worried about that.. I think it will remain basically the same. Meaning it won't advance much because of limited spending and such. I'm curious to see what Kerry would do about Iraq if he is elected.
Edit: About dx9.0c, I'll also wait till it is up on the MS website. I don't trust those kinds of updates like I used to.

The re-election of Bush would pretty much kill the Union. You can bet that people will start talking secession. Im guessing when you say people you mean democrats, I would enjoy that. And I would like to see the military they produce, or the lack there of.

Nah, I also agree with them on other issues as well.. such as the war and taxes. That's why I said that religious beliefs was my main reason.. not the only one. My whole family (mother and fathers side) also have the same views so there's you another reason.
I didn't want to go into more because I don't want to start anything. I have my own opinions and it doesn't bother me if yours are different. That's just how I feel. I'm not trying to change anyone's mind or convince them that my views are better.
Ahh anti-choice. Let me guess, you're pro-gun, pro-war, pro-death penalty, and anti-social programs, right? Taking a life shouldn't be anyone's choice. Yes; if the cause is right; no; and no. Right? No.
