Remember that NVidia is completely optimised already for Doom 3 ATI hasnt even gotten started 
Will NVidia be faster out of the gate, yup of course they paid big money for that.
Does that mean NVidia card is better? Of course it doesnt!
This is a PR manuplition, making gamers think something is wins cause its faster out of the gate.
If gamers are that gulible nodays you deserve to be taken for a ride.
Its like deciding the innocence or guilt, by listening to the prosecution OR the defense, but NOT both, lol.
NVidia's last 2 chipsets have been dogs, now they have a good one by most accounts, doesnt mean ATI isnt just as good or even better, its these cards arent in full production yet much less readily avaliable yet.
Its gonna take months before we know where these cards stand especially drivers, its completly possible NVidia will have the same problem with HL2.
