Save your self 1000 dollars and do NOT buy the LCD, not if one of its main purpose is for gaming. Not only is its MAXIMUM possible ?frame rate? 62.5, but its native resolution is 1600x1200 (that means anything not in 1600x1200 will look fuzzy or slightly blurred). Again, not great for gaming (well, they are nice for some types of games, but not first person or third person with a lot of action)
I've had a NEC LCD1760 for about 6 months now, and I couldn't be happier with it. The blurring is barely noticeable at first and after a short time, I found I had to look for it before I noticed. I actually had a harder time getting adjusted to regular text in non-gaming programs than I did with games. Far Cry is about the only FPS I've played on it since then and it ran fine. Meanwhile, flight sims - which are mostly what I play and are about as frame rate sensitive as anything - all look and play great.
