Why should we have to subscriber to IGN, or FilePlanet, to download blurred camcorder film of an advert in order to find out about new games? Yeah agreed. It's the same with movie trailers - I never understand why most trailers aren't available (easily) for download, instead relying on that Apple site.

I've read a number of post-E3 XBOX DOOM3 previews, which are all talking October for the release. What we are expecting is a mid-June release from ID for the PC, but this has not been confirmed and a number of online retailers are still giving the XBOX version an earlier release date than the PC edition.
There has been no “.plan” from ID that confirms any of the June dates being bandied about. Why do the retailers think that the console version will be first?
Another E3 related thing that really bothers me, although not related to DOOM3 (this year) is the E3 movies that we have to obtain as “shaky-cam” footage. They are advertising, in the same way as film trailers, so why can’t the companies involved release the footage on their websites at a decent quality? I've made perhaps 2 posts to a BluesNews board in 6 years or however long ago I found this place. I typically don't post here because this board is not the first forum I think of for civilized debate. Most forums aren't.
However, I've kept up with the big threads around here pretty regularly, being a gamer and all. I enjoy reading them in the same way some people enjoy watching Cops or Jerry Springer. But never before have I felt such a strong urge to tell one of you that you're certifiably crazy.
Zephalephelah, you're certifiably crazy. I read what you said about Creston's sig. So I scratched my head and thought, "I never noticed his sig before. I should go back and look for myself." So I did. I was expecting to find some really demented quote or obnoxiously colored text or something. But all it consists of is his screen name: unbolded, unitalicized, normally-sized, unless I'm missing something.

Zeph, you are truly beyond the pale, my dear lad. You are the foreman of the Cracker Factory. I applaud your honesty since going on the way you did and revealing the way you felt about something so trite as a forum sig takes real guts.
