[i-Was so offended by the partially naked statues in the DOJ's Great Hall that he spent $8000 of American tax money to cover up the naughty bits
Hmm. Maybe if reporters didn't constantly take pictures from an angle that prominently displayed the boobs next to speakers' heads, and maybe if there weren't outcries of hypocrisy! from Ashcroft's enemies about "pornography" right there in the DoJ , then maybe he wouldn't have been goaded into spending $8000 of their money on removing them from sight. They asked for it, they got it. Sounds like justice to me.
-Failed to stop the worst terrorist attack in US history with plenty of advance warning.
-Waged war on the Constitution and Bill of Rights with the Patriot Act.What kind of idiot are you? Apparently the kind that says to people "i don't like this, take it away" and then "hey, give me that back you ****". Funny how you blame Ashcroft for failing to stop the terrorist attack and in the very same breath condemn him for subsequently taking the very steps that would have stopped it in the first place.
For the record, I am against music piracy as well, although the situation is quite different than it is for software.
