I didn't hate HALO, but I found it somewhat underwhelming mainly due to the map repetition. And the ammo scrounging really pissed me off. The difficulty seemed uneven at times. I'd breeze through whole areas, and then get my ass kicked in one small room again and again.

I felt that the difficulty lightened-up somewhat after 'The Library' (which was the source of many a curse and a quick-load) but again, that's where all the maps began to repeat themselves.

And I'm terribly biased, but I didn't think that the MP even came close to TRIBES 2.
