Wow, I was waiting until April 26 for this price drop. I was about to go down and get it today with the idea of getting my money back after the real price drop happened. Now I don't have to screw around or wait for it.

I also got $45 back from that Best Buy savings plan when I got a laptop. That makes the XBox $105 for me. Talk about the right price.

This isn't so much a price drop as probably just making a package available with no games.

Do I get a retroactive rebate since I just bought my Xbox a week ago?

Actually, a lot of electronic stores will give you the money back, if you buy something and within 30 days they drop the price...

Go for it...never hurts to ask!

Right, everybody knows they aren't serious. It's a company full of people whose sole intent in life is to play with your mind! They weren't able to make a fool out of you!

You have won the thread.

I thought they were dubbed "the heaviest"?

How much does the PS2 weigh with the Final Fantasy XI Hard Drive , the network adapter add-on, and 2 controller splitters attached to it?

Oh, and everyone know that if they were serious, it should have been $129.99..."Significant savings" my ass. Nice try, Bill.

Yea because you know... 50 is a nice round number while 30 isn't.

From a consumers standpoint, yes, absolutely.

I'm guessing they're saving $129 for the Xmas season...

199.99 cdn. assuming you only get nailed for the GST(7%), then it works out to be a 32 dollar savings.
