This is, unfortunately untrue. We already know that the PC games being developed by Bioware are both there own IP (intillectual Property) there for they CANNOT be based upon the D&D license.
Neverwinter Nights is the single most popular Online game in america's history (yes even more so then CS, believe it or not).
NWN2 would be a hit, but I have a suspission that Bioware doesn't like Atari very much (who does, they are the REALLY crappy publisher). Unfortunately without going through Atari, you cant use the D&D lisense. Thats why the last game by Bioware and the next one comming out that we know of, aren't D&D based.
I'm sure they will be RPG's and I'm sure they will be awesome. Bioware are the best of the best when it comes to CRPG's, so I'm sure what ever they release, will rock.
Bioware has said on the boards the next PC game will be announced at E3, but it won't be basd on D&D, so again.. NWN2 is will NOT be.
Most the people who didn't like NWN or thought it was OK probably only played the solo campaign. This is to bad cause the game is not about solo player campaigns with big groups. It's ALL about the multiplayer and it's more open ended in that sense then any game before it. Thats probably why it's so phenominally successful.
